When cutting car keys
Q: How to avoid the situation of cutter being broken of the HU64 Mercedes Benz key?
A: 1. You can either use 2.0mm cutter but the "Cut Speed" must be equal to 5;
2. Suggest to use 2.5mm cutter.
Q: How to avoid the situation of cutter being broken of the NEW HONDA smart key?
A: 1. You can either use 2.0mm cutter but the"Cut Speed" must be equal to 1;
2. Suggest to use 2.5mm cutter.
Q: Ford Hu101 key tip end is easy cut through
A: Please fix it on the jaw by the shoulder stop way but not the tip, then it can be fixed tightly more.
Q: BMW Motor BW9 key cutting may damage the jaw when cut it on S1-B
A: This key is shorter than the ordinary one, please fix it on the S1-A to cut.
Q: Fiat SIP22 key cutting may damage the jaw when cut it on S1-B
A: This key is shorter than the ordinary one . please fix it on the S1-A to cut.
Q: Honda HON66 key's OEM key blank is very hard. The cutter breaks easily when cutting it
A: Please use 2.5mm cutter and decrease the cut speed to 10.
Q: Some key blanks of SIP22 are made of hard metal materials. The cutter breaks easily when cutting too fast
A: Please decrease the cut speed to 10.
Q: The key of New Honda 2021 has two different sides, namely side A and side B, and it's easy to fix the wrong side on the jaw
A: Please pay attention that the side with a long slope on the left side is side A and the other one is side B.
Q: The key of VW HU162T has side B and side C in the vertical direction, and it's easy to fix the wrong side on the jaw
A: Please pay attention that the groove is located at the bottom end of side B, while the other side is side C which is flat and without a groove.
Q: The plastic key of VW HU66 can not be decoded on the key machine. How can we know the bitting numbers of it?
A: Firstly, please use the photograph function to recognize the key bittings. Then input the result manually and cut it on the key machine. In case you need help, please contact us.
Other common problems and solutions
Q: The cutting space of cut out key is not aligned or is positionally shifted
A: Please use two 1.0mm decoders to re-calibrate the decoder-cutter distance.
Q: The machine does not start cutting and pops up the error "STC report error"
A: Most likely, the shavings got into the machine and caused blocking inside. we need to remove the covers to clean it up totally.
Q: What kind of situation will occur If the shavings is not cleaned up thoroughly
A: Affect the cutting accuracy.
Q: Why is it suggested to conduct a Conductivity Test
A: 1. To know if the machine gets short circuit or not
2. To judge if the key gets conductive or not.
